Purchase Questions

A: Yes, as a franchised dealer of Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, we are authorized to offer Mopar Vehicle Protection, a product of FCA US LLC (formerly Chrysler Group LLC), an authentic factory-backed extended warranty.
A: Yes, we can provide a new vehicle policy for almost any vehicle that is less than 3 years old and has less than 36,000 miles, and a used vehicle plan for vehicles with up to 125,000 miles, regardless of where you purchased the vehicle.
A: Since we sell to a national market without vehicle overhead, instead of just to our local dealership markets, we are able to offer volume pricing to our customers. Unlike our dealerships and competitive dealers, our separate department also has no vehicle inventory overhead.
A: Yes, it doesn't matter how many owners there have been, as long as the vehicle qualifies by age and mileage. This applies to purchasing Unlimited Mile Plans.
A: Changes to coverage of New Mopar Vehicle Protection Plans must be made before 3 years/36,000 miles, whichever comes first, and the difference in price must be paid in full if the original purchase was fully paid. If the Mopar service warranty plan was financed, Mopar will calculate the difference in cost based on the upgrade or downgrade of the contract. You will be contacted if any additional down payment is required.

Note: The vehicle’s current mileage is required for accurate upgrading or downgrading pricing at the time of sale.
A: No upgrades or downgrades can be made after the signature date of a Used Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan contract. Make sure to provide the exact current mileage of the vehicle when you purchase the Mopar service warranty.
A: We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. If you wish, you can go to https://www.bbb.org and enter Zeigler in the Find box and Plainwell, MI in the Near box.
A: Our quotes are good for 30 days. Quotes will be deleted early after a price increase from MOPAR. In this circumstance, we will send out notifications before the quote is deleted.
A: We do not offer financing options with Road Hazard Tire & Wheel and Auto Appearance Care plans because we have priced these plans so low! In addition, there is less paperwork that you will have to receive when you only finance one plan.

General Questions

A: Your Vehicle Warranty is comprehensive product coverage that is provided to you by the manufacturer that protects you against product defects for a specified time or mileage. Your Mopar Vehicle Protection Warranty, a product of FCA US LLC, is additional protection that you purchased which provides you with specific component coverage that goes beyond the manufacturer's Standard Warranty period and extends your protection for the specific time and mileage duration you selected.

A Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan Warranty is different from the factory Standard Warranty. For example, a Mopar Vehicle Protection Plan warranty does not cover maintenance, trim items, wear parts, exhausts, and glass. For complete details, please take a look at the Contract Plan Provisions in the Plan Documents list of our Document Library menu.

Terms such as Chrysler extended warranty, Dodge Extended Warranty, and Jeep Extended Warranty are used interchangeably with the term Mopar Vehicle Protection, a product of FCA US LLC, within this site.
A: Your responsibility is to properly operate, care for, and maintain your vehicle. All information regarding these subjects can be found in the owner's manual supplied by the manufacturer. You should retain all receipts regarding care and maintenance of your vehicle to avoid any misunderstanding as to whether the maintenance services were performed as specified by the manufacturer in your owner's manual.

Please visit our Document Library to download a Used Vehicle Inspection Form that can be email to us upon completion.

A: Maximum Care Plans are exclusionary plans, and Added Care Plans and Added Care Plans are component inclusionary plans.

In short, Maximum Care covers everything (over 5,000 parts) except parts and labor for maintenance services and items used in such services, such as the catalytic converter and particulate filters, glass, plastic lenses, light bulbs, body and paint items (including soft trim), snowplows, winches, trailer hitches and wear items (including tires, manual clutch assembly, brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, belts, and wipers).

It's important to carefully review your warranty to understand what components are covered and under what circumstances.

Hybrid, e-Torque and Electric Vehicle Coverage

A: FCA US covered hybrid parts and other emissions systems specifically listed each vehicle’s Standard Factory Warranty Information booklet for 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Under Federal law, these hybrid and emissions parts are warrantied for 2 years or 24,000 miles. Hybrid parts listed in the Warranty booklet include the hybrid charging system, hybrid electric cooling system, and hybrid power inverter system parts. Moreover, FCA US covers emission parts. In addition, the Pacifica Hybrid with a catalytic converter and/or a powertrain control module is covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Specifically, the High-Voltage Battery in hybrids is warrantied 10 years or 100,000 miles in non-Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEV) states, and it is warrantied in ZEV states for 10 years and 150,000 miles, whichever occurs first. So far, these 14 states have adopted the ZEV program: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.

Also, in California, if your vehicle fails a Smog Check inspection, FCS US will make necessary emission repairs up to 3 years or 50,000 miles, whichever happens first, to insure passing the smog inspection. Certain emission–related parts will also be repaired or replaced if defective until 7 years or 70,000 miles.

For detailed warranty information about hybrid and e-torque vehicles, please refer articles listed under the Warranty Articles menu.

A: For electric vehicles like the Fiat 500e, the Electric Powertrain Limited Warranty begins at the start date of the Basic Limited Warranty and lasts up to 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. This warranty only covers the following electric vehicle components: electric drive motor (EDM), power inverter module, gearbox, on board charger (OBC) and the on board charger connector. The HV Lithium-Ion Battery Limited Warranty lasts for the earliest of either 8 years or 100,000 miles. The loss of gradual battery capacity is not covered by this warranty.
A: The Standard Emission Warranty covers a specific list of emissions parts under the Basic Limited Warranty for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, even though Federal law requires only 2 years or 24,000 miles. On the new e-torque mild hybrids, Ram 1500 and Wrangler, the belt-driven hybrid starter generator assembly and the 48-volt power pack unit are covered along with the catalytic converter and powertrain control module for 8 years or 80,000 miles.
A: Special mechanical coverage plans are available from Mopar Vehicle Protection for electric vehicles manufactured by FCA US.
